Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a legal and promising form of psychedelic-assisted therapy that blends low-dose ketamine with skilled, integrative psychotherapy. This approach is gaining traction as one of the most innovative and effective tools we have for healing depression, trauma, anxiety, and existential distress—especially when traditional talk therapy has only taken you so far.

If you’re someone who feels stuck in old emotional loops, burdened by chronic low mood, or disconnected from your sense of purpose, KAP may offer a different kind of opening. Rather than numbing or bypassing, ketamine invites you to meet yourself in a new way—with softened defenses, increased insight, and often, surprising clarity.

At Demystified Mental Health, I offer the therapeutic portion of KAP in collaboration with a licensed psychiatrist who prescribes low-dose ketamine lozenges for safe at-home use. Together, we support you through preparation, exploration, and integration—ensuring the experience is not just powerful, but meaningfully woven into your healing process.

This work is not for everyone—but for the right person at the right time, it can be profound. If you’re curious whether it’s a fit, I’d be honored to explore that with you.

Therapy Intensive: A Deep Dive into Lasting Change

Imagine what could happen if you dedicated a full day—or even two—to focused, uninterrupted healing. Therapy intensives offer exactly that: a unique opportunity to dive deeply into the heart of what’s been holding you back and make tangible progress in a fraction of the time traditional weekly sessions might take.

Why Choose an Intensive?

A therapy intensive isn’t just about fast-tracking your growth; it’s about creating the space you need to fully explore, process, and heal in a way that weekly sessions don’t always allow. Studies show that immersion-based therapy—like intensives—can bring about meaningful results faster than standard approaches, helping people achieve powerful shifts that lay the foundation for lasting change.

In this 12-hour, neuroscience-driven program, we’ll work together to help you unpack complex patterns, find relief, and begin to embody new, more resilient ways of being. You’ll gain new tools for emotional embodiment, nervous system regulation, and clarity that you can carry with you well beyond our time together.

What Can You Expect?

Each therapy intensive is thoughtfully designed to include:

  • Two 6-hour, highly focused sessions: You’ll have dedicated time to move through layers of your experience using methods like brainspotting, somatic work, and nervous system regulation.
  • A Pre-Session Consultation: Before the intensive, we’ll clarify your goals and ensure that we’re prepared to make the most of our time together.
  • Follow-Up Session: After the intensive, we’ll meet to integrate your progress, provide additional support, and develop strategies for continued growth.

The Value of Transformation

This isn’t just a session; it’s an investment in the life you want to lead. By setting aside time for an immersive experience, you’re allowing yourself to be fully present, dig deep, and achieve a sense of clarity, relief, and freedom that can be hard to come by in regular, shorter sessions. Imagine moving through your life with a stronger sense of inner peace, a clearer understanding of who you are, and a renewed capacity for joy and connection. That’s the potential of an intensive.

This type of commitment to yourself can be life-changing—giving you the tools to manage stress, deepen relationships, and approach the future with confidence. A therapy intensive might just be the first step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Is Brainspotting for me?

Therapy Intensive: A Deep Dive into Lasting Change

Nervous System Based Psychotherapy

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused therapy method that uses your visual field to help access and process deep-seated emotional pain and trauma. It's based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific points in your visual field, we can target areas of your brain that store unprocessed trauma.

Proven Uses

It's based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific points in your visual field, we can target areas of your brain that store unprocessed trauma.

Proven Uses of Brainspotting:

  • Trauma and PTSD: Brainspotting is highly effective for those dealing with trauma and PTSD, helping to unlock and resolve distressing memories and emotions.
  • Anxiety and Depression: This therapy can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by addressing the root causes stored in the brain.
  • Chronic Pain: It helps in managing chronic pain by releasing the emotional and psychological components associated with physical pain.
  • Performance Enhancement: Brainspotting is used by athletes, performers, and executives to overcome mental blocks and enhance performance by resolving subconscious obstacles.
  • Addictions: It aids in treating addictions by addressing the underlying emotional and psychological triggers.

Brainspotting offers a unique, effective approach to healing and personal growth, helping you access and resolve issues that traditional talk therapy might not reach.

At Demystified, we believe healing begins with understanding your nervous system—the intricate network that shapes how you feel, respond, and connect. Our work is grounded in the idea that your body and mind are always communicating, and that even your most challenging reactions are your system’s best attempts to protect you.

We blend evidence-based neuroscience with deeply compassionate, somatic approaches to help you build awareness, safety, and connection from the inside out. Our therapists draw from modalities such as Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, and parts work to support a healing process that honors both science and the lived experience of being human.

Each of us brings our own perspective and training to this work. Jane’s approach integrates somatic and generative practices with an emphasis on trauma recovery, growth, and reconnection to self and the natural world. Savannah’s work weaves together somatic practices and polyvagal-informed care, with a strong focus on identity, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ affirming support.

Together, we offer a therapy experience that is collaborative, inclusive, and nervous-system aware—helping you find grounding, healing, and a deeper sense of wholeness within yourself and your relationships.
