Our Therapy Matchmaking Service is designed to streamline the process of finding the right mental health care for those who are overwhelmed, unsure of their needs, or unable to afford our standard out-of-pocket rates. This service aims to bridge the gap between potential clients and suitable therapists by providing personalized referrals curated by a trained psychotherapist.

How It Works

  1. Initial Interview:
    • Consultation: Clients begin with a one-on-one interview with a trained psychotherapist. This consultation can be conducted via phone or video call, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
    • Assessment: During the interview, the psychotherapist conducts a thorough assessment of the client’s mental health needs, preferences, and financial constraints. This includes discussing any previous therapy experiences, current challenges, and specific therapy goals.

  1. Curated Referrals:
    • Personalized List: Based on the assessment, the psychotherapist curates a list of potential therapists who are well-suited to the client’s specific needs. This list is tailored to include therapists who offer services within the client's budget, including those who provide sliding scale fees or accept insurance.
    • Explanation and Guidance: Along with the list, the psychotherapist provides a general overview of the types of therapy that may be beneficial for the client. This includes explanations of relevant therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) in plain language, avoiding complex jargon.

With a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and an extensive blend of post-graduate training including brainspotting (phase 1 & 2), Somatic Experiencing, and generative somatics, I specialize in treating complex trauma with compassion and innovation.
